About Rogart and East Sutherland
Elcaila is located in the village of Pittentrail in the crofting parish of Rogart in East Sutherland.
The village has many local amenities including an excellent inn for good food, a shop & Post Office and
a garage & filling station. There is a playpark nearby and the area is ideal for walking, cycling, fishing,
bird watching, golf, tennis and bowls.
Rogart is just a short drive away from a number of other towns and villages in East Sutherland including
Dornoch - famous for its golf course, Golspie, Brora, Lairg and Bonar Bridge.
Each summer, various events take place in all of these villages such as Agricultural and Crofters Shows, Gala
Weeks, Highland Games and Pipe Band Parades.
